Before 2011 ushered in, it was
being widely described as the
'Year of the Tablet'. Indeed, the
year saw a number of tablet
launches from both big and
lesser known hardware makers.
From Motorola to RIM, HP to Dell,
Olive to Creative, all jumped on
the tablet bandwagon to grab a
piece of the market.
However, very few of these
tablets could create a buzz in the
market. While some were found
wanting on features and
functionalities, some were
rejected by customers for their
small screen size, and many on
looks alone.
As 2011 comes to an end, here's
a look at the tablets that ended
up as a bitter pill for their
makers.
